Abstract Requirements:
1. Maximum: 1 page.
2. Format: DOC or DOCX.
3. Registered participants can submit up to two abstracts as the first author.
4. All abstracts must adhere to the submission guidelines provided

Full Paper Submission:
1. Only for registered participants of the conference.
2. Deadline: December 15, 2025. Late submissions may delay approvals.
3. Format: Maximum 10 pages in DOC or DOCX format.
4. Must follow the editorial rules of the Europen Geologist Journal. See full guidelines here.
5. The journal accepts color images, tables, diagrams, and graphs in compliance with its editorial rules.
6. All papers will undergo anonymous peer review. Articles not meeting the required quality may be rejected.

Presentations at the Event:
1. Oral and poster presentations are only available for registered participants.

Congress Proceedings will be edited as special edition of European Geologist Journal

The 5th IPGC is engaging the global professional geology sector, aiming to consolidate the global network of the geo-science professional community while also opening a dialogue with relevant decision-makers and civil society organizations, and naturally engaging with academia and other professional communities.

For those interested in presenting at the conference, we invite you to submit an abstract on one of the themes and sub-themes highlighted below. Your abstracts will be reviewed, evaluated and approved by the Conference Scientific Committee. Conference proceedings will be published in a special edition of EFG European Geologist Journal.

In addition, you can also consider submitting a session proposal in the Secondary Conference Room. In this case, you are responsible for the content and organization. Normally, sessions are proposed by private or public organizations and not by individuals. Please check the details in the appropriate section of the website for session proposals.

Finally, you can also consider submitting a proposal for a training/workshop/event in the Private Events Space #2. Normally, these events are proposed by private/public organizations and not by individuals. Please check the details in the appropriate section of the website for session proposals.
