Call for Proposals

All proposals are welcome, but those fitting the following criteria will be considered favorably:

• Focused on societal challenges (CRM, geothermal, etc.)

• Interdisciplinary approach (including non-geologists)

• Sharing the ‘how-to’

• Expert, gender-balanced, and regionally diverse speaker line-up

• Creative, interactive, and engaging format

• Duration of 1 to 4 hours

• Speakers already committed to attending in-person

The 5th IPGC is open to proposals from all public and private entities. There is no fee to host a meeting. There are two rooms available for sessions:

• Secondary conference room – open for session proposals

• Private events space – open for training, workshop and other event proposals

Session organizers cannot request an extra fee from attendees, except for training and similar educational activities where fees are permitted.

Proposals will be accepted till 30th November 2024.

Notice of meeting acceptance will be provided by 20 December 2024.

• Early applications are welcome and encouraged.

• Note that applications will be processed upon receipt.

• Slots may be assigned to selected proposals before the deadline.

After acceptance, the meeting will be included in the official event program and promoted through Conference channels. However, organizers are responsible for the content, designing the meeting, coordinating and securing speakers, leading the activity in-person, and promoting the meeting within their networks.

Access to the event is granted to all registered participants of the Conference.
